Here we are, 15 days into the new year.
Are your holiday decorations put away yet? 
I'll allow myself to brag for a bit. Mine are all away--have been for a week already. I think I'm setting a record for myself in terms of getting that stuff back into the closet where it spends 11 months of the year.
It actually would have made it back into that basement closet a day earlier, but I was waiting for my slave labor older children to haul the 5 Rubbermaid tubs and 4 cardboard boxes downstairs so I could stack them properly. In this case, "properly" means that the stuff that will be used last is on the bottom of the stack.
Now that the boxes are neatly stowed away, I can replace the items that normally sit on my shelves and tabletops. All those things, like family pictures and collectible teapots, went into those storage tubs while the Christmas stuff was out. It's time now to get the house back to normal.
