It's our 19th anniversary--or 20th, depending on how you count. 
19 years ago today, my husband and I were married. Our wedding came on the heels of a snowstorm that dumped several inches of snow in the area, causing travel delays for some and requiring that I wear my "duck boots" to the church so I wouldn't ruin my new wedding shoes.

20 years ago today, we had our first date. In those days before Google Maps and GPS, I relied on my trusty local map to give him directions to pick me up. The poor guy got there--but he went way out of his way. (In my defense, I was completely clueless about the New Jersey Turnpike at the time. I'd never driven on it. I knew all about the Parkway, though.)
19 (or 20) years later, he still puts up with me.
