I've spent quite a few hours in the past week going through old photos.
No, I'm not putting them into albums--I'm not even doing a good job of sorting them out. I'm looking for particular pictures and that's about all. 
For my son's Eagle Scout ceremony, my husband is making a PowerPoint presentation showing his progress through Scouting from Tiger Cubs all the way to Eagle. And he was well into Boy Scouts before we had a digital camera, so I've been digging through box after box of unlabeled envelopes of photos.
My son is not happy about the fact that "embarrassing" pictures of him will be shown. I don't think they're too embarrassing. Most of the Cub Scout pictures involve parades and "crossover" ceremonies where the boys move up to the next level of Scouting. We're not talking about naked-baby-on-a-blanket photos.
I do think, though, that if my son had known that any photos of him before the age of 15 were going to be shown, he wouldn't have invited any of his friends to attend the ceremony.
