Do you like your birthstone?
I was born in July, and I've never been fond of my birthstone (ruby.) 
This is probably becaue I don't like the color red. I've never asked for birthstone jewelry, since I'd just as soon not wear that color.
I can remember thinking that people born in March, September, December and May had all the luck; their birthstones are blue and green--my favorite colors. And I have friends who've always wished they'd been born in April, because the birthstone for that month is the diamond!
