It's time to think about holiday cookie-baking! 
There are a lot of people who make many batches of different cookies. They set up platters and baskets with an assortment of delicious treats.
I am not one of those people.
The one Christmas cookie recipe I follow makes about 12 dozen cookies. It takes all day to roll, cut, decorate and bake that many cookies. So I think one is plenty. In my case, the variety will have to be limited to how many different cookie cutters I use, and the different sprinkles for topping.
I'm gathering my ingredients now, but I won't be doing any baking for a couple of weeks. Otherwise, there won't be anything left for Santa!
