I think I was the only parent at the Christmas play last week who wasn't toting a video camera.
And I don't have a problem with that--but my husband does.
Just call him Captain Video. Whether it's a school play, Halloween, or the first day of school, he's behind the viewfinder capturing every moment.
There's a small problem this year, though. He can't find the charger for the camera. And without batteries, there won't be any video. I don't think the kids are going to mind; two of them are at the point where they don't want moment-by-moment footage of them stumbling sleepily down the stairs, bed hair and all, and taking their places at the foot of the Christmas tree.
