If it's snowing outside, the last thing you might think of doing is cooking your dinner on the grill.
Especially if that dinner is lasagna. 
But earlier this month, that's exactly what my sister wound up doing. She lives in northwestern New Jersey, up in the mountains, and when there's stormy weather, they lose power.
My brother-in-law thought about starting up the generator so they could finish cooking their dinner (they'd just put it into the oven when the power line went down.) Instead, they decided they could bake that lasagna on the grill.
I'd have reconsidered that plan after going out and discovering that there was no propane left in the grill tank. But my brother-in-law took a fresh tank of propane from the shed, set it up, and fired up the grill.
This may be a new snow-day tradition in the Great White North: Lasagna on the Barbie!
