My favorite glass is was my Coca-Cola glass, even though I prefer to drink Pepsi. 
Notice that I had to say that this glass "was" my favorite. That's because it's apparently someone else's favorite too, and that someone left the empty glass on his desk. One of the kids bumped into the desk, and the glass fell down and shattered all over the family room.
Of course, none of the kids in the family room were wearing shoes at the time, so I had to chase them all out of there so I could vacuum up pieces of my favorite glass.
I used to like to fill the Coke glass with Pepsi--just because I could.
But maybe it's time to do something about the few mismatched pieces of glassware I have left in the cabinet. Maybe four of them are from a set we got as a wedding gift. I have a few Notre Dame Fighting Irish glasses, and the rest of the glasses are from Pom iced tea.
Is McDonald's still doing that Coke-glass promotion? Maybe it's time for me to super-size it...
