My husband didn't know how good he had it. 
When the kids were small, we had two kinds of shampoo in the house. My husband and I used the same shampoo. He likes the coconut-scented shampoo that they used where he would get his hair cut, so I just stocked up on that and he was happy. To this day, that's the only kind of shampoo he uses. And when the kids were little, we had a bottle of baby shampoo for them. Gentle on the eyes, and all that good stuff.
We've only got one child left who needs baby shampoo, because at seven, he's not very good at keeping the soap out of his eyes. Everybody else has developed their own shampoo preferences--and now we've got the Shampoo Jungle in the shower.
My teenage son doesn't think that guys should use coconut-scented shampoo, or anything else that smells "fruity." So I have to buy him "shampoo for men." His sister, on the other hand, is a product hound. There are at least three bottles of different varieties of shampoo and/or conditioner that she's opened up and left there. (She's the same way with deodorant. She's got about four different deodorants in her room, because they all smell different.) I just choose among whatever shampoos my daughter has left hanging around the shower. There are always plenty of choices, thanks to her!
We've hit the point where there is no room for any more shampoo in that shower. I hope that when my daughter grows up, she has a shower with lots of built-in compartments for all her different hair products. She's going to need it!
