Businesses everywhere are working overtime these days to attract new customers. Sometimes they are creative, and other times they're just annoying. So if you want me to be your new customer, keep these tips in mind. 
- You make me wanna SHOUT! Don't scream at me in your radio or TV commercials. I don't care if you're selling used cars or discount clothing; if you shout at me, I won't shop with you. There's only one exception to this rule: Billy Mays. And that's because I'm not completely convinced that he was shouting--I think that was just his voice.
- Twitter-rific! I joined Twitter and facebook purely for the social value. It's no fun to open up Twitter and see nothing but spam. That's not to say that I hate seeing special offers (hey, I write here at Ultimate Coupons and we're all about the special offers) but be clever about it. You can be promotional and fun at the same time.
- Be credible. If the fine print is five times as long as the great deal, it's probably not that great a deal.
- Offer me something! I love free shipping, and extra discounts are great too.
- Make sure your website is user-friendly, because if I can't find it, I can't buy it.
