This weekend my kids' school is collecting books for an upcoming used-book sale. 
I have plenty of books around here that are in good condition and that I am willing to donate. All I have to do is box them up and put them in the car.
Once I get a few boxes of books out of the house, there's going to be space in the basement and room on my bookshelves! This means that my husband's home office will be a lot neater. He'll be happy.
This also means that my bookshelves will have room for (you guessed it) more books! I'm sure that when I volunteer at the book sale I'll be repopulating my bookshelves with the literary treasures I find.
But I've also got a running list here of all the books that people have recommended to me. I love it when friends and relatives recommend books, and I always try to find those books. Chances are good that the school's used-book sale will not be a good place to find those.
Chances are excellent, though, that I'll be able to find great deals on those books I've been looking for--without having to pick through tables full of dusty, musty books (achoo!) For that matter, I won't even have to leave my house. I love internet shopping.
