Let me begin by saying that I am thrilled to be part of things here at Ultimate Coupons! I’m a homemaker with three children ages 6 to 16. By the way, that very flattering photo Andrew posted yesterday is NOT a picture of me. There are very few actual pictures of me, because I’m generally the one holding the camera. That is not coincidental. I hate having my picture taken. My daughter did pry the camera out of my hands one time this summer, and here’s the one picture I am willing to display in public.

I’m happy to be here, Blogging for Coupons, since I believe it’s my sworn duty to be careful with my family’s money. Coupons help me do that, and this site helps me find great coupons. It’s nice to shop in stores sometimes, but most of the time I feel that I can’t stand one more errand. I spend more than enough time in the car driving my kids to Boy Scouts, orthodontist appointments, and basketball practice. That’s frowned upon at Boy Scouts, the orthodontist, and basketball practice, but it’s great for writing and shopping from home. Let’s just say there’s not going to be a webcam on my laptop anytime soon.
