Australia's always fascinated me. Not just because they apparently throw shrimp around and say things like dunny and barbie and G'day. Yeah, Gene Hackman's "Lex Luthor" in the original Superman film wanted to rule Australia. And it was always the easiest and quickest continent to take over in RISK. (Though good luck winning the game if that's your overall gameplan.)

But in 1987, some cute, peppy little blonde from Australia decided to remake a silly little dance song and for some reason it took off like mad. In the late '80s you could not avoid this driving tune as it continued to chug up the billboard charts everywhere. Heck, chances are if you attended any weddings, sweet sixteens or other formal type of events, the band or DJ would surely crank this tune out. These days, Kylie's still singing, acting and all that jazz. And I've got to admit, she looks 20 times hotter these days. Don't believe me?
