Picking the Wii WinnerWe've finally picked a winner for our Win a Wii contest that ended last week. (Well, my 4-year-old son did, so that way you can't blame me if you didn't win!) While the winner was chosen via a random drawing, we did end up getting some really great entries. So in the spirit of those horrible beauty pagents, I figured I'd show off a few of my favorites before announcing the big winner and even offer some award titles to them. Please hold all applause until the end...

The Bad Luck Award goes to Audrey, whose post about losing a fridge and gaining a contest entry gave me a good chuckle and a warm feeling inside. That, and her blog is about coffee, so I have to give her props for that.

The Ken Burns Award goes to Meta-Dad, who wrote a really fascinating post about the history of coupons leading right up to how he and his family use them. Plus, he's a daddy blogger, so us dads gotta stick together. We're few and far between in the blogosphere.

The I Was Really Rooting For Him Award goes to Drew, who wrote about donating the Wii to a fundraiser at his 15 year school reunion to help raise money for a former classmate whose family is suffering with cancer. I wish him and all his classmates the best of luck with everything.

The She's a Poet and She Don't Even Know It Award goes to Jade, who... well, who just cracked me up with her mastery of the iambic pentameter.

The She's a Poet and She Does Know It Award goes to Mary, who impressed even herself with not one, not two, but three coupon-themed poems.

The Hyperlink Overload Award goes to Jackie, who's not only a coupon addict and wrote a spiffy post about how she just can't live without coupons, but also managed to link to UltimateCoupons.com a total of 18 times in one post. Impressive. Quite impressive.

Great job all around to you guys, and to everyone who entered. (You can applaud now...) And now for the moment you've all been waiting for. This is the big one.
