Yeah, I said it. Black Friday. Whatcha gonna do about it? Heh. It's exactly one week until Thanksgiving. Which means in a week's time I will be quite immobile as my belly is overfilled with turkey, stuffing, mashed taters and more, as I try to roll myself onto the couch with beer in hand and a football game on the TV. Ah, to dream. It also means in a week's time and 1 day... it will be Black Friday! The official starting gun for the holiday shopping season. As such, I just started a Black Friday Deals page to list all the crazy online sales that are kicking off next week and continuing on through Cyber Monday (the Monday after Thanksgiving) and beyond.
So hopefully you can avoid the absolute insanity of crowds and lines at 5 a.m. on Friday at your local stores by just chilling at home in your jammies and getting some sweet deals online as well. Also note that I've added a link to the Black Friday page in the header navigation at the top of the page. If I have time, I'll just to whip up a quick little badge for the sidebar too so you can all see my mad PhotoShop skills at work. (Or maybe I'll just have my 4 year old draw something... that'd be way better)

Honestly? I have no idea what Black Friday is :$ I must look it up.
hey! just stopped in to say "hi!" and saw your awesome Black Friday post and link! What? You're not going to be out jostling and knocking people over as you lead the race to the coveted no-name 12" flat-screen TV for $4? What kind of a shopper are you? As for me, you might have read on my blog that I will be OUT THERE, dedicated as I am to Black Friday, at 4:30am, doing the "Open Open Open" Mervyn's thing on their window, waiting anxiously for the doors to open so I can fling myself upon deals that I don't even need. Sweet! Thanks for the link - I can get a head start!
@Liza - Hah. It's the day after Thanksgiving when retailers offer insane sales and discounts to help kick-start the holiday shopping season.
@Amy - Hey Amy! Hi! I am sooo not a morning person. If these Black Friday things started at midnight or 1 a.m., I'd be all over them. But no. I'm one o' those types that think waking up before 7 a.m. should be illegal. Good luck in your camp out though!
