It's no secret I'm a child of the '80s and still surround myself with video games, toys, music and cartoons from the bubble gum decade. So I figured it was time I started a weekly flashback column to reminisce. After all, Danielle's Flashback Friday posts are my favorite things to check out on MsDanielle.com every week. And Christy's recent posting of a classic A-Ha video really clinched it for me. (Especially since she didn't take the obvious popular route of embedding the band's mega-hit "Take on Me.")
So from the same cheesy era, here's one of my favorites from another one-hit-wonder band:
Cutting Crew - I Just Died in Your Arms
And what would a post be without coupons? Nothing says retro (no matter what your age bracket) then Time Life with its oldies but goodies CD and DVD collections!
$10 off orders over $50
$15 off orders over $85
$20 off orders over $100 at Time Life
Use the above link to get the coupon code and all the details.

OMG I love that song!
I too am a child of the eighties, lol. Madonna was my hero, Michael Jackson was actually cool back then (I even had the glitter glove), those were the days:)
I'm looking forward to seeing your weekend posts, what an awesome idea!
And thanks for mentioning me, I appreciate it:)
ah! who DOESN'T love that song? i'll bet iTunes makes a crapload off that song alone!
Ms. D: Yeah I never saw the video either, but loved the song so I did a quick search and found it. And I'll be looking out for a new Flashback from ya this week!
Tish: Somehow I had a feeling a romantic like yourself would dig it.
Jo: You're quite welcome! Just doing my job. Haw!
Christy: I so need to see a photo of you with a glitter glove! That would completely make my day.
Amy: Good point. iTunes really needs to start a new sidebar widget called "Songs we've made a crapload off of."
Oh man, now that song is going to be in my head allll day haha! I miss the '80s and my side ponytail!
Allison - Sorry to get it stuck in your head. At least it's a good tune, though. I can think of worst songs to be stuck in my head... And wow I completely forgot about the side ponytails!!! Hah!
