gardenMy kids love going clothes shopping. No, they don't really care about new shirts or pants or jackets or socks (Well, does anyone really get excited by socks? Yeah, didn't think so...) or hats, etc. No, what they love is when me and their mommy are looking for new clothes and the two of them get to run around the store like sugar-induced puppies weaving in and out of the clothes racks. You've never truly played hide and seek until you've scrunched down under a rack full of outdated, irregular shirts and giggled like a, well, like a two year old.

Ever since they could crawl, our kids have loved chasing after each other and smashing through spinning rack after spinning rack of clothes. It'd be a blast to watch if I wasn't so nervous that they'd: a) Smash into somebody, b) Smash into a wall or c) just completely vanish before my eyes causing the mass panic attack all parents go through when they turn their eyes off their kids for all of 1/900th of a second. For some reason they love the clothing racks at Old Navy and Kohl's stores in particular. Maybe it's the layout of the store, I don't know. But it's the main reason we need two of us to go clothes shopping these days.
