I have a friend who's like 8 feet tall. Okay, that's an exaggeration. He's probably about 6'2 or so, but since I'm a mere 5'7", everyone just seems giant. He's always telling me how hard it is to find pants. Not that he loses them, just that he can't find his size. He's kind of just a little too tall/big for the largest sizes at regular clothing stores, but not big/tall enough for those "Big & Tall" shops you see all over the place. So I turned him on to a few good online stores specializing in plus or extra sizes. Has he used any of them yet? Of course not. But not because they aren't any good; he's just not the quickest at responding to suggestions. But I'll keep at him.
