I'm really not an artist. You couldn't tell because, well, I haven't posted any of my drawings. That's probably why I always gravitated towards writing, even as a kid. Even my stick figures look broken. (And I still recall the laughter of some of my co-workers when I tried drawing a simple arrow on a dry erase board, only to have it resemble a negative seven. Sigh.)
My wife on the other hand, though she won't admit it, has some decent artistic skills. She's a master at creating birthday cakes using all those food colorings, cake decorating tips, etc. Heck, she made my nephews some karate cake, another one she made Puffel (don't ask) and for our younger son who just turned 2, she made an Elmer the Patchwork Elephant cake (see delicious looking and tasting cake at right). All just from eyeballing a picture and drawing it basically free hand. I can't even imagine what train wreck of a cake I'd make if I tried that. No, crafts are definitely not for me. Good thing she's great at it (and not just cakes, but making puppets, using clay, etc. She's real adventurous with the kids that way).
Anyways, all this craft talk has me thinking about coupons. And wouldn't ya know it, there's a fantastic coupon for Joann.com! What are the odds?

And yeah, there are a ton of exclusions, but hopefully you can still find something ya need.

That cake is really amazing! Your wife is really talented!
Heh. You're just saying that so she'll make you one. How about we trade you one Elmer cake for a dozen of those insanely good cheese bagels?
